Survivors: daugh[t]er, Ashley McCarty Bateman of Baton Rouge; sons, David P. McCarty Jr. of Pineville and Todd McCarty of Alexandria; sister, Patricia Ann McCarty of Fox Lake, Ill.; brother, Daniel McCarty of Middletown, Pa.; 3 grandchildren.
