David R. Emmons Rites Thursday

Funeral services for David R. Emmons, 72, who died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Garrett Sutherland, Bonham, Rt. 3, at one o'clock Tuesday afternoon, have been announced for Thursday, 3 p.m., at the Wise Funeral Chapel with the Rev. T. W. Sisterson, pastor of the First Christian Church, Bonham, officiating. Burial will be in Brown cemetery, Wise Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Emmons was born in Vivian, La., and came to Texas in 1932, having resided in this county since that time.

Survivors are the daughter, Mrs. Garrett Sutherland, Bonham, Rt. 3; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild; two nephews, Elmer Emmons, Sayre, Okla.; Jack Emmons, Vivian, La.; a niece, Mrs. Charles Godfrey, Oil City, La.

Pallbearers will Be Fosted Jaynes, Lena Jaynes, Chuck Justie, Arvin Melson, George Warren and Sterling Denton.
