KENNEWICK - David E. “Dave” Terrell, 66, passed away on December 30, 2008 at Kadlec Medical Center unexpectedly from complications after lung surgery. Dave was born August 20, 1942 in Trona, CA, the youngest of 4 children, to Hadley & Venus (Fisher) Terrell.
At a young age Dave's family settled in Lower Naches near Yakima, WA. Dave met his wife, Judy, at Naches High School and they married in Las Vegas, NV during his Navy Boot Camp leave in 1960. After an honorable discharge from the Navy they came home to Yakima where Dave completed his Plumber/Pipefitter apprenticeship. Dave was a loyal member of Local 598 in Pasco for 44 years, serving as a Business Agent and various other duties.
Traveling for work lead him to various jobs in the US, Spain, Israel, USSR and China. Dave enjoyed fishing and camping with Judy and best friends from high school and their families. Dave & Judy enjoyed visiting friends in Las Vegas on their way to Arizona for five winters.
Dave is survived by his wife, Judy, of 48 years; beloved dog Tia; best friend ever for 50 years Larry Lounsbury & family; brothers Torance Terrell of Yakima & Tom (Bonnie) Terrell of Garden Grove, CA; sister Peggy Whitehouse of Connecticut; nieces Amber (Rick) Scholtys, Torene Terrell and families of Yakima; Debbie Terrell of Garden Grove, CA; nephews Richard (Lori) Terrell of Alabama, Tom (Nancy) Terrell, Bud (Indu) Terrell and families of CA; cousin & friend Robert (Ginger) Terrell and family of Chehalis, WA and brother-in-law Robert (Jeannie) Kirksey of Arlington, OR.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Hadley & Venus Terrell and sister-in-law Linda Kirksey.
I will miss and love you forever, Dave, but know you are free of pain and can rest now. See you next time (YSY), Judy
