David Emmons
June 8, 1955 - September 16, 2012

David W. Emmons Sr., 57, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 16th. Beloved husband of Cynthia McGee Emmons for thirty five years. Father of Tonya Emmons Meyer (Antony), David “Dayday” Emmons Jr., and Misty Rose Emmons. Lovingly known as “pawpaw,” to Melenia and Antony Meyer, Noah Emmons, and Ella-Rose Smith. He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lee Merle Emmons and Naomi Husser, grand daughter Ava Smith, brother Sonnie Emmons, and sisters Belinda Emmons and Connie Erwin.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 2:00 P.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 10:00am.

Interment will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
