David W. Dunn, 75, Dies in Hospital
David Washington Dunn, 75, a lifelong resident of Louisiana, died at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 1954, in a local hospital.
A retired farmer, Dunn was born in Oakdale and had lived the past 10 years in Alexandria.
He was a member of Woodmen of the World and the Emmanuel Baptist church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lula Sessions Dunn, Alexandria; two sons, Dewey Dunn, Alexandria and Carl A. Dunn, Galveston, Tex.; one brother, Virgil M. Dunn, Alexandria; one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Pittman, Pitkin; four grandchildren, George Dewey Dunn, Carl David Dunn, Luanne Dunn and Charles Owens.
Funeral services are set for [omitted] p.m. today in the chapel of Hixson Bros. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.
