ROLEN SR., DAVID WAYNE

A truck driver and a resident of Walker, he died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. He was 60 and a native of Monroe. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Phillip Rush and the Rev. Charles Rolen.

Interment in SalemWalker; (survived by) a sister, Frances Elaine Arnold, Denham Springs; a brother, Louis Rolen, West Monroe; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Robert J. Rolen and Alma Williams Rolen; two daughters, Theresa Joann Rolen and Patricia Elaine Rolen; and three brothers, Herman Rolen, James Rolen and J.R. Rolen.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Parker, Ralph Dove, Richard Barksdale, Jim Barksdale Jr., Cecil Street, Bobby Rolen, Donnie Rolen and Joseph Culmoney. Honorary pallbearer is Jim Bar.
