DAVIS PRESTRIDGE
COLUMBIA, April 18 (Special) -- Davis Prestridge, 35, of Olla died Sunday in New Orleans.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Riser and Son Chapel with Rev. Norman Simmons officiating. Interment followed in the Olla Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son of Columbia.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. H. M. Blevins of Shreveport; one brother, R. E. Prestridge of Baton Rouge.
Prestridge was a veteran of World War II.
The body arrived in Columbia Wednesday morning at 6:10 a.m. from New Orleans.
