FERRIDAY -- Funeral services for Dean Travis Wilson, two-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wilson Jr. of Clayton, were held at 2 p.m. today in Mimosa Pentecostal Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Bobby Ritchie and the Rev. Austin Crehen officiating.
Burial was in Oakley Cemetery at Wisner under direction of Young's Funeral Home of Ferriday.
The Wilson child died at 3 a.m. Tuesday in Jefferson Davis Hospital at Natchez, Miss. after a brief illness.
Other survivors include one brother, Joseph Wesley Wilson of Clayton; one sister, Kathy Jo Wilson of Clayton; paternal grandmother, O'Dean Wilson of Ferriday; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Maples of Ferriday.
