Mrs. W. E. Vick dies at age 87; rites Thursday

Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday for Mrs. W.E. Vick, of Rt. 7, who died at 3:15 a.m. today at Methodist Hospital. Rev. Everett R. Watts will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Vick, the former Della Cameron, was the daughter of the late Robert Miller Cameron and the late Lenora Pell Cameron. She was a native of Clarke County and lived in the Harvey Community for 50 years.

She was a member of Petal Methodist Church and the Della Cameron Vick Sunday School class, which she taught for many years.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Neoma Burford of Mobile; four sons, Robert and Auburn Vick of Hattiesburg, Norman Vick of Pacific Beach, Wash., and Tom Vick of Dallas, Tex.; one brother, D. D. Cameron of Hattiesburg; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
