DERIDDER -- Della Harper, 88, died at 2:50 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2002, in the DeRidder hospital.
She was a lifelong resident of DeRidder. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Pauline Harper Howell of Basile and Barbara Harper Hurd and Joyce Harper Williamson, both of Lake Charles; three sons, J.G. Harper and Gary Harper, both of Dry Creek, and Arthur Harper of DeRidder; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, in Shiloh Baptist Church. The Revs. Rod Martin, Gilmer Phillips, Hollis Roberts and Ned Burrett will officiate. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder. Visitation is 8 a.m.-10 p.m. today in the funeral home and from 8 a.m. Saturday in the church.
