Delma K. McCollough, 87, of Laurel, died Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at Laurelwood Community Living Center in Laurel.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Lebanon Baptist Church in Jones County with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery in Jones County. The Revs. A. W. Kirkland, Leon Carmical and Steve Clark will officiate.
Ms. McCollough was a retired seamstress and a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Pearl Barlow Kitchens; granddaughter, DeDe McCraw; brother, Roscoe Kitchens and sister, Katherine Blackwell.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jack R. and Millie McCraw of Laurel; daughter and son-in-law, Linda M. and Larry Gavin of Laurel; two step-sons, Leroy McCraw and David McCraw, both of Fort Worth, Texas; step-daughter, Annette Young of Little Rock, Ark.; brother, Winford Kitchens of Dade City, Fla.; grandchildren, Lisa and Bubba Sims, Leroy and Kellie Rushton, David and Marty Rushton, and Sandi and Gregg Waltman; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bubba Sims, Buddy Flowers, Morris Herbert, Robert Burkes, Leroy Rushton, and Ruben Bryant. Honorary pallbearer will be Shane Sims.
The body will be placed in the church at 9 a.m. Friday. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. this evening at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of the arrangements.
