Delma Wardlaw

Services for Delma Mae Wardlaw, 91, of Crosbyton were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 1991, in Crosbyton Church of Christ, with Jim York, minister, officiating. Irvin Himmel, minister of the Church of Christ in Decatur, Ala., assisted, and burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wardlaw died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 1991, in Crosbyton Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born Dec. 28, 1899, in Milford and moved to Crosby County in 1921. She married H. Frank Himmel in 1918 in Hill County. He died October 19, 1947. She married Roy Wardlaw in 1958 in Hale Center. He died in 1962. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Carroll Himmel of Crosbyton, and Irvin Himmel of Decatur, Ala.; a brother Virgil H. Melton of Lubbock; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
