Delma R. Myers

MEADVILLE -- Delma Ray “Peewee” Myers, 66, of Meadville, died Oct. 24, 1995, at Natchez Community Hospital.

Services were at 3 p.m. today at Oak Grove Methodist Church in Franklin County, with burial in the church cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home of Meadville was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Myers was born July 5, 1929, in Franklin County. He was the son of Troy C. Myers and Lottie Sullivan Myers.

He was a farmer and logger and was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Eddie V. Myers of Meadville; two sons, Michael Myers and Kenneth Myers, both of Baton Rouge, La.; two daughters, Myra Holmes of Walker, La., and Susan Lamm of Colfax, La.; two stepsons, Glenn Halford of Pearl and Jimmy Halford of Cranfield; two stepdaughters, Elaine Glidden of Natchez and Barbara Bienvenu of Jackson; three sisters, Nancy Burris of Meadville, Willie Templet of New Orleans and Hilda Case of Baton Rouge; eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
