Delmus Eugene Hodge Sr.
Delmus Eugene Hodge Sr. died on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City after a lengthy illness. He was 77 and a resident of Lake Rosemound. He was a retired self-employed electrician and a member of the First Baptist Church of St. Francisville.
Visitation at First Baptist Church of St. Francisville on Friday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. until service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Joe Ratcliff. Burial in Azalea Rest Cemetery in Zachary.
He is survived by a son, Delmus Eugene “Gene” Hodge Jr., of St. Francisville; grandson, Don Deville and wife Nancy; and great-grandchild, Audrey Ann.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Wood Hodge; brother, John Wayne Hodge; sister, Vonette Hodge O'Neal; and parents, John Weatherly Hodge and Versie Stroud Hodge.
