WINNFIELD -- Services for Dennis F. Gaar will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Southern with Bishop Loy Gaar officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Dodson.
Gaar, 89, of Dodson died at 2 a.m. Wednesday in Jackson Parish Hospital, Jonesboro.
Survivors include his wife, Velen Gaar of Dodson; one son, Dennis B. Gaar of Dodson; one daughter, Irene Henderson of Joyce; one brother, Russ Gaar of Dodson; one sister, Beulah Kelly of Pineville; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
