DESTIN, Fla -- Dewey B. Emmons Sr., 74, a retired insurance salesman, died of renal failure Saturday in Fort Walton Beach (Fla.) Medical Center.

Graveside services were Tuesday at Beal Memorial Cemetery in Destin. McLaughlin Mortuary in Fort Walton, Fla., handled arrangements.

Mr. Emmons was a Lake native. He was a Methodist.

Survivors include: wife, Alice; son, Bernie F. Emmons of Diamondhead; daughters, Patricia Jantzen of Waldorf, Md., Elizabeth Nasuti of Juno Beach, Fla., and Suzanne Cole of Destin; brothers, Charles Emmons of Pearl, Jim Emmons of California and Bill Emmons of Indiana; sister, Sibyl Gordy of Forest; and 11 grandchildren.
