Dewey C. McCarty, 94, of Laurel, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1993, at Jones County Rest Home in Ellisville.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel with burial in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. Rev. Charles Mayo will officiate.
He was retired from Masonite Corporation and was a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie McCarty.
He is survived by one son, Joe McCarty of Ellisville; one daughter, Hazel Mayo of Pascagoula; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Memory Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
