D. G. LINCECUM
D. G. Lincecum, 89, one of the oldest pioneer residents of Grant Parish, died at 2:10 p.m. Friday, March 28, 1952 in his residence at Georgetown.
A member of the Lincecum Baptist Church, he is survived by his sons, Hodge Lincecum, of Joinerville, Texas, Howcott Lincecum of Tioga, John Quincy Lincecum of Bossier City, Coley, Willard, and Otis Lincecum, all of Georgetown; three daughters, Mrs. Stella Christy of Shreveport, Mrs. Alcine Nugent of Winnfield, and Mrs. Louise Roberts of Georgetown; three brothers, John and G. G. Lincecum, both of Georgetown, and R. G. Lincecum of Pollock; 35 grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. today, March 29, 1952 in the Lincecum Baptist Church with Rev. Leslie Coats, Rev. V. H. Mathews, and Rev. Liseley, officiating. Intermentw ill be in the Lincecum Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Pallbearers will be nephews.
