DOCK ELLZEY
Dock Ellzey, 89, Laurel, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 1990, at South Central Regional Medical Center.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memory Chapel, with burial in Big Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The Rev. Gerald Busby and Dr. Pat Nowell will officiate.
He was a retired merchant and a Baptist. He was a Mason.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Wyenna McKinley and Hilda Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Jimmie Ellzey of Laurel; a son, James Oliver Ellzey of Taylorsville; two daughters, Cibyl Garcia of Monterey, Calif., and Odell Wester of Lithia Springs, Ga.; a step daughter, Teresa Nolan of San Antonio, Texas; 16 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Doyl Creel, Earl Creel, Ricky Creel, Hilton Hill, Todd Ellzey and Tommy Miller.
Visitation will begin at 6:30 p.m. today at Memory Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
