Services for Mrs. Dollie Hall Whelan, 81, of West Monroe, LA. will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday April 7, 2003 at Christ Church in West Monroe, La. with Rev. W. R. Lowe and Rev. Tom Lowe officiating. Burial will be in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, La

Mrs. Whelan was born on March 21, 1922 in Bienville Parish, LA and died at her residence in West Monroe, LA on April 4, 2003. She was a member of the Christ Church of West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Whelan was a beautician for over 50 years, a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, John Whelan of West Monroe, LA; step-son, Michael Whelan of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; son, Jerry Richard Guin and his wife, Anita of Mesa, AZ; daughter, Judith A. Harris of West Monroe, LA; sisters, Doris Thomas of Shreveport, LA and Ann Helen Smith of Monroe, LA; brother, Grady Hall and his wife Kathy of Deltona, FL; sisters-in-law, Joan Powers, Patti Campbell and her husband Ted, Helen Walsh and her husband George and Mary Anderson; niece, LaJuane Moseley and husband Randy of Monroe, LA; two granddaughters, Wendy Guin of Los Angeles, CA and Christy Guin of Mesa, AZ; and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends.

Pallbearers will be J. L. Milby, J. R. Dumas, Randy Anders, Gene Norton, Roy Fortune, Randy Moseley and George Walsh.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Sunday and from 9:00 A.M. until Noon Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home and from 1:00 P.M. until service time at Christ Church.

The family would like to give thanks to Hospice of Louisiana and the many others who provided for her during her final days.
