Don Fields Dark, Sr.

NATCHITOCHES, LA - Services for Don Fields Dark, Sr., 66, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 8, 1989 at the Church of Immaculate Conception the Rev. Sam Polizzi will officiate. Burial will be in the Memory Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis of Natchitoches.

Mr. Dark died at 1:45 p.m., Wednesday, December 6, 1989 at the Natchitoches Parish Hospital. He was a native of Winnfield, a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army and the retired owner-operator of Dark Furniture Store in Natchitoches.

He is survived by his wife, Sadie M. Dark of Natchitoches; two sons, Don Dark, Jr. of Houston, Texas and Johnny Dark of Rogers, Ark.; two daughters, Beverly Giering of Natchitoches and Missy Birch of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Charles Dark of Cleveland, Texas, Jean Dark of Evergreen, Alabama, and Harry Dark of Ft. Worth, Texas; six grandchildren.
