A retired network operations specialist for Sprint Communications, Don C. Magee died Monday, June 23, 2008, at his home in Baton Rouge. He was 62, born Nov. 12, 1945, in Jackson, Miss., and a member of Jefferson Baptist Church.
Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, June 25, from 11 a.m. until religious service at noon in the chapel, with the Rev. Tommy French officiating. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Carmichael Magee; sister, Mildred Eliska Magee Lynch and husband Bill; two brothers, John Louis Magee and wife Kathleen, and Robert Ellis Magee and wife Anita; and nieces and nephews, Debbie M. Ware, Sharon Magee, Laird Magee, Michael Magee, Tyler Smylie, Layton Lynch and Landon Lynch.
