Survived by his wife, Mrs. Audrey Steele Bass, Baker; son, Don Bass, Baker; daughter, Mrs. Betty Clary, Alexandria; granddaughter, Candace Clary, Alexandria; five brothers, S.V. Bass, Gloster, Miss., Lloyd Bass, Covington, Burwell Bass, Clinton, Frank Bass, Walker, and Gene Bass, Denham Springs; four sisters, Mrs. Byrdie Miller, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Earlene Thompson, Denham Springs, Mrs. Foy Davis, Grangeville, and Mrs. Dot Chaney, Clinton.
