Donald Brooks

Services for Donald O. Brooks will be at 2 p.m. today at Deleah [sic Belah] Methodist Church, Jena, with the Rev. R.W. Coody officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Rush, Pineville.

Brooks, 65, of Pineville died Friday at the Alexandria Veterans Administration Medical Center.

He was a veteran of World War II, a master Mason and was retired from the Red River Atchafalaya and Bayou Bouef Levee Board.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Brooks of Pineville; one daughter, Dorothy Camp of Pineville; two sons, Glenn Brooks and David Brooks, both of Ball; three sisters, Lottie Wright of Carthage, Texas, Velma Allbritton of Tullos and Patsy Allday of Metairie; two brothers, James E. Brooks of Alexandria and C.A. Brooks of Sulphur; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
