Funeral services for Donald T. "Donnie" Bryan, 60, will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 20th, 2005 in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Officiating will be Rev. John Shannon. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.

``Donnie'' Bryan was born July 20th, 1944 in West Monroe and passed away on Monday, July 18th, 2005 after a lengthy illness at his residence in Downsville.

Mr. Bryan was a tugboat engineer for over 28 years with Dixie Carriers and a life-long resident of Ouachita Parish. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. He dearly loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed camping and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, DeWitt and Ophelia Bryan, and by a brother, Milton ``Buck'' Bryan.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years Carrie Whittington Bryan; daughters: Donna Conley and husband Jesse of Downsville, Patricia Corbin of Downsville and Brenda Swan of West Monroe; son: Jimmy Hottinger of West Monroe; grandchildren: Curtis Corbin, Jr. and wife Patiance, Jamie Hottinger, Chad Swan, Carrie Swan and Eric Bryan Rodgers; great grandchildren: Cameron Corbin, Tayler Corbin, and Sidney Hottinger; sister: Elsie Bryan Jordan of Rison, AR; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Ed Linder, Dwain Jordan, Orland McDaniel, Ben Purdy, Jeff McQuiston, James Formey. Honorary Pallbearer will be Donald Lee Jordan.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the doctors and staff at LSU Medical Center and Hospice.
