Donald Ray Dickerson
Donald Ray Dickerson, 68, of Longview, TX passed away on April 26, 2012 at his residence in Longview.
Mr. Dickerson was born on August 8, 1943 in Shreveport, LA. to Arthur and Lena Mitchell Dickerson.
Dr. Dickerson married Frances Ruby Jacobs on August 21, 1974 in Marshall, TX. He retired from being a delivery driver for Presley Oil Company after over 35 years of service to them. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and dirt track racing.
Mr. Dickerson is survived by his wife: Frances Dickerson of Longview, TX; Sons: Randy DeWayne Dickerson of Dallas, TX, and William Frank Dickerson of Longview, TX; Stepdaughter: Debra Coup and her husband Charles of Longview, TX; Brothers - Richard, Bob, Glen, and Joe Dickerson all of Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson - Michael Gray.
Funeral services for Mr. Dickerson will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home in Longview, TX. Visitation will start at noon on Saturday before the services and go until 2 at the funeral home.
