Donald Ray Worsham, Sr.
(September 8, 1939 - December 19, 2012)

Donald Ray Worsham, Sr., 73, died on December 19, 2012 at Nolan Nursing and Rehab Ceneter.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at McCoy Chapel of Memories. Freddie Gillentine and Russell Smith will be officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery.

Mr. Worsham was born on September 8, 1939 in Sweetwater. Donald and Martha Amanda Boone married on October 27, 1962 at White Flat, Texas. He was a graduate of Newman High School in 1959 and lived in Sweetwater all of his life. Donald had worked for Abilene State School as a crew supervisor for 15 years and in younger adulthood he owned several gas stations working for Texaco for 19 years. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include: Sons- Clifford Worsham of Sweetwater, James Worsham of Houston, Texas, Donald Ray Worsham, Jr. of Commerce City, CO.; Daughters- Linda Oden of Sweetater, Shannon Martin of Hamlin, Texas, Dora Schenkenberg and husband, Bob, of Lake Sweetwater, Julia Smith and husband, Russell, of Abilene, Texas; Brother- A.T. Worsham and wife, Oleta, of Abilene, Texas; 9 Grandchildren and numerous Great-grandchildren

Mr. Worsham was preceded in death by his wife on January 14, 2007, his parents Arthur T. and Eula Mae Worsham, his sisters, Anne Marcy, Dora Mae Kilpatrick and Helen Davis, and his brothers Bud, George and John D. Worsham.

Pallbearers will be Randall Cunningham, Chuck Way, Tom Fox Todd Webster, Troy Webster, Ryan Worsham.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 21, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
