DANIEL

Donna ``Sue'' Outlaw Daniel passed away at home on July 4, 2004. She was born July 12, 1949 in Patsville, Arkansas to Irene and Curtis Outlaw. Sue attended the Hermitage Schools and graduated in 1967. After graduating from Pines Vocational and Technical School in 1970 with a degree in Practical Nursing, she moved to Mesquite, Texas meeting and forming a lasting friendship with Joyce Mitchell. Sue obtained her associate degree in nursing from El Centro College in Dallas in 1977. She was employed by Mesquite Community Hospital for 25 years and was one of the original labor and delivery room nurses.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Kenneth Outlaw and Eddie Wayne Boley.

Sue is survived by her husband of sixteen years, Joe Daniel, along with her son, Austin Adams. Aunt Sue was a second mom to her nieces, Christy Harper and Wendy Barber, and nephew, Shane Adams. Other survivors include three stepsons: Kevin, Kenny, and John Daniel along with her step-daughter, Sharon Daniel; two brothers: Troy Outlaw of Clayton, Louisiana; Bobby Boley of Goosecreek, South Carolina; and three sisters: Elois Cameron of Hermitage, Arkansas; Pat Richard of Warren, Arkansas; and Kay Medlin of Mesquite, Texas; and sisters-in-law, Ruth Outlaw of Bastrop, Louisiana and Phyllis Boley of Hermitage, Arkansas.

Sue will be missed by not only her family, but by her friends and co-workers as well. She will be remembered by her loving and selfless giving. Visitation was held from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at the funeral home with the family receiving friends 6:00 to 8:00. Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Chapel with Rev. Richard Oliver officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park.
