Mrs. Dora C. Godwin Dies

Final rites for Mrs. Dora C. Godwin, 77, of Route 2, Benson, were conducted at New Zealand Free Will Baptist Church Sunday at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. David Capps. Interment was in the family cemetery.

Mrs. Godwin died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. C. Hare of Route 2, Benson, Saturday at 2 a.m. following a lingering illness.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. D. J. Liles of Route 1, Clayton, and Mrs. Hare; one son, J. I. Godwin of Route 2, Faison; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
