DOYLE, DORIS EVELYN DAWSON

A retired educator and a resident of Shreveport for 55 years, she died peacefully in her sleep at her home Wednesday, March 3, 1999. She was 92 and a native of Haynesville.

Visiting at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Marshall Street Chapel, Shreveport, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Saturday, officiated by Ray Boswell of First Baptist Church of Shreveport. Interment in Forest Park West Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Clarence Doyle, Shreveport; two sons, Albert Cecil Doyle and William Raymond Doyle, both of Baton Rouge; a brother, Charles A. Dawson, Houston; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, O.W. and Ruth Dawson; three brothers, O.W. Dawson Jr., W. Herman Dawson and Russell Dawson; and a daughter-in-law, Barbara R. Doyle.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Burkhalter, Bill Doyle, Phillip Doyle, Keith Schilling, Greg Schilling and John Reilly. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Shreveport.
