Doris Caldwell

Doris was born in Winnsboro, Louisiana to Baker and Alma Horne, and passed away with her son Gary holding her hand.

She worked for many years in the credit department for Sears Department Store in Fresno and Phoenix, Arizona. She was a bookkeeper for her sons' business in Clovis for several years. Doris will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Caldwell; her parents; her brother James, and two nephews.

She is survived by her son, Gary and his wife Karri; three grandchildren, Chad, Kelsey, and Courtney Caldwell; brothers, David and Marvin Horne of Kerman; sisters, Dorothy Harold of Kerman, and Betty Jones of Bakersfield; and many nephews; nieces and cousins.

At her request, there will be no services. Private inurnment will take place in the Garden of Peace at Chapel of the Light.
