Mrs. Doris Jones

The funeral for Mrs. Doris M. Jones, 52, of 1408 N. Western will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery at Wapella.

Friends may call at the Beck Memorial Home and the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Jones died Saturday night in St. Joseph's Hospital. She had been ill of leukemia two and a half years. She had been employed at the Beich Candy Co. 30 years and was secretary of Local 342 for 24 years until 1964.

She was born at Minier Aug. 16, 1914, the daughter of Edward and Mabel Valentine Swann Kribbs. She was married to Robert (Guy) Lush in 1931 and he preceded her in death. On Feb. 2, 1946, she was married to Hoyt A. Jones.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mayme Westerfield, 822 S. Bunn; Mrs. Shirley Carver, R.R. 2, Hudson; Mrs. Roberta Whalen, 1408 N. Western; three sisters, Mrs. Elmyra Thompson, Hudson; Mrs. Betty Guritz, Allegan, Mich.; Mrs. Ruth O'Bryan, Richton Park, Ill.; three brothers, Charles Kribbs, Hialeah, Fla.; Lawrence Kribbs, Oak Lawn, Ill.; William Swann, Hollywood, Fla.; a half sister, Mrs. Mary Jane Schumm, Dear Creek; her father and stepmother, Danvers; 13 grandchildren.

Her mother, four brothers and two grandsons preceded her in death.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
