BRUNER, DORIS MAE LESTER ``NANA''

A homemaker and resident of Gonzales, she died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, in Baton Rouge. She was 73 and a native of Jena. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Gary Willis. Interment in Hope Haven Cemetery, Gonzales.

Survived by her two daughters, Janet B. Davidson, Kenner, and Judy Kay Carubba, Gonzales; three sons, Kenneth E. Bruner, Youngsville, Billie T. Bruner, Baton Rouge, and John A. Bruner, Oson, Korea; a sister, Ruberta ``Bert'' Pearson, Greenwood; two brothers, Fred Lester and James Lester, both of Shreveport; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, James E. Bruner; parents, William Conley and Myrtle LeVan Lester; and a brother, L.C. ``Curly'' Lester. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Gonzales.
