WINNFIELD -- Services for Dorothy V. Gates will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Southern with Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mrs. Gates, 74, of Winnfield died at 10:35 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29, 1993, in Jefferson Anderson Medical Center, Meridian, Miss.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy Ford of Meridian, Miss.; one brother, Neville [sic Nevil] King of Marrero; three sisters, Jomae McEachern of Crowville; Roberta Dunham of Baskin and Rhoda Mercer of Winnsboro; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services Monday in the funeral home.
