Dorothy Partridge
Dorothy Lynn Whittington Partridge, 70, a resident of Denham Springs, LA, and a native of Natchez, MS, passed away at her home on Monday, April 30, 2012.
She is survived by her children: Steve (Brenda) Atkins and Nevitte Wade (Susan) Atkins of Denham Springs, Joseph Atkins of Clinton, LA, Lonnie (Sandra) Atkins of Bogalusa, LA, Billy Lee (Tanya) Atkins of Ferriday, LA, Willie “Bill” (Ruby) Partridge II of Bude, MS, Lynn (Charles) Reeves of Natchez, MS, and Velma (Chip) Sullivan of Brookhaven MS. Grandchildren: Cheyenne Atkins, Morgan Atkins, Victoria Atkins, Abbie Atkins, Gabbie Atkins, Rebecca Atkins, Hailey Atkins, Lysa Richardson, Landon Partridge, Caleb Atkins, Douglas Atkins, Ben Atkins, Patrick Partridge, Willie “Lil Bill” Partridge, Keith Partridge, Todd (Debbie) Partridge, and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sisters and brothers: Barbara Ann Maye, Faye Causey, Becky Nevels, Mary Agnes McGuffie, J.W. Whittington, and Royce Whittington.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Pat Partridge, daughter, Billie Jean Atkins, son, Joseph Partridge, her parents William Lonnie and Dollie Whittington, sisters, Colleen LeMay, Betty Jo Kramer, brother, Edward Whittington and a great-grandson, Anthony Braiden Atkins.
Visitation will be at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, 6471 Hwy, 953, Jackson, LA, on Friday, May 4, 2012, from 5-9 P.M. and will continue on Saturday, May 5, 2012, from 9 until service time at 11:00 A.M., with Rev. Blake Barber, Rev. Joey Hoyt, and Rev. Norwood E. Hoyt officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park in Denham Springs at 3:00 P.M.
