MRS. DOROTHY MARIE PITTMAN
Services for Mrs. Dorothy Marie Pittman will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 30, 2008, in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Jena, with Revs. Scot Fletcher and Lionell Hatton, officiating. Interment will be at Belah Cemetery in Belah, LA. under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
Mrs. Pittman, 68, of Harrisonburg, LA., was born July 10, 1939 in Sandy Lake, LA., and passed from this life on May 27, 2008 at her residence in Harrisonburg, LA.
She is survived by one son, Robert Thomas Rollins and his wife Melissa of Salem, AR.; three daughters, Ruby Marie Edwards and her husband Jimmy of Harrisonburg, LA., Tammy Rena Smith and her husband Michale of Cottontown, TN, Katina Nichole Woodward and her husband Robbie of Olla, LA.,; one step-daughter Carla Mignonne Pittman of Harrisonburg, LA.; four brothers, Sherman Allen Ford of Sicily Island, LA., Albert Esaw Ford, Jr. of Gravette, AR., Carlos Edward Ford of Garvette [sic Gravette], AR., and Harvard Eugene Ford of Tullos, LA.; four sisters, Nelva Lou Powell of Media, PA., Rickie Wayne Ford of Jonesville, LA., Carolyn Sue Holley of Winnsboro, LA. and Rita Murl Boothe of Jonesville, LA; her Step-Mother, Pearl Ivy Ford; 12 grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and two Step-Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Coleman, Curtis Freeman, Coley Cater, Tony Scott, Billy Scott, and Henry Granger.
Honorary Pallbearers will be sons-in-law Jimmy Edwards, Michael Smith and Robbie Woodward, and Marty Powell, Steve Sottung, and Darrel Thaxton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cuny W. Pittman, parents, Albert Esaw and Janie Marie Smith Ford, Sr., and Grand Son, Robert Thomas Rollins, Jr.
