Vidrine, Dorothy ``Dot'' McCarty

Funeral services for Dorothy ``Dot'' McCarty Vidrine were held Tuesday, October 18, 2005 in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Pollock with Reverend Donnie Lodatto officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pollock under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

Mrs. Vidrine, 63 of Pollock passed away Saturday, October 15, 2005 at Woods Haven Senior Citizen Home.

Mrs. Vidrine was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a resident Training Specialist 2 Supervisor at Pinecrest Development Center during her working life, retiring after 30 years of service.

Her parents, Milo and Fannie Adams McCarty and her brother, Jimmy McCarty, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie McCarty Maxwell and husband, Daron of Pollock, her two granddaughters, Emily Maxwell and Allyson Maxwell, both of Pollock and her brother, Thomas ``Tommy'' L. McCarty and wife, Jeanette of Montgomery.

Pallbearers were Tommy McCarty, Jr., Ricky McCarty, Gary Johnson, Shannon Sikes, Billy Mays and Gary Maxwell.

Honorary pallbearers were Chad Gaspard and Cody Walker.
