Mrs. Dorothy Bullock

Mrs. Dorothy Lucindy Walker Bullock, 68, a resident of 24th avenue in Gulfport for 20 years, died Tuesday at 9:47 a.m. at Howard Memorial Hospital in Biloxi where she had been a patient for one day.

Mrs. Bullock, born April 8, 1898, in Jackson County, resided in McHenry prior to moving to Gulfport where she was employed as a seamstress at the MacSmith Garment Factory. She was a Baptist.

Friends may call at Riemann Funeral Home in Gulfport after 6:30 p.m. today. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Paul Holder of the 15th Street Missionary Baptist Church and the Rev. Harry Tapp officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Bullock is survived by four sons, W. O. Walker, Ocean Springs; J. H. Walker, Slidell, La.; Norris R. Walker, Crystal Springs; Roy Walker, U.S. Armed Forces; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Beaver, Corpus Christi, Tex.; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Williams, Ocean Springs; Mrs. Hettie Austin, Gulfport; Mrs. Maggie Brown, Norfolk, Va.; Mrs. Carrie Jones and Mrs. Flora Bell Quartrell, Houston, Tex.; and four brothers, Dan and Edward Webb, Mobile and William and Ralph Webb, Ocean Springs.
