Dorothy W. Douglas Fortenberry, 76, of Hazlehurst died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
Services were held Tuesday, March 14, at Stringer Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Hazlehurst Cemetery. Dr. Robert Hanvey officiated.
She was a Copiah County native and a member of the Hazlehurst United Methodist Church.
Survivors are a son, Lamar Douglas of Hazlehurst; step-daughter, Elizabeth Ann Perilloux of Ponchatoula, LA.; brother, Teddy Whittington of Wesson; five grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children's Home or Mississippi Children's Home in Jackson or Copiah Academy in Gallman.
