Dorothy Freeman Berry, 84, died Sept. 4, 2005, at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst. Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Stringer Family Chapel with burial in Hazlehurst Cemetery.

Mrs. Berry was a native and lifelong resident of Copiah County. She enjoyed her yard work and flower garden. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Harold Freeman of Hazlehurst; daughter, Lajuan Stinson of Terry; sister, Edna May of Petal; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
