Lowrance

Douglas Lawson Lowrance was born October 6, 1954 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Aleta June and Billy Joe Lowrance, Julie Renae Lowrance was born April 7, 1992 in Sayre, Oklahoma and Alyssa Bartz Lowrance was born February 22, 1993 in Elk City, Oklahoma, the daughters of Doug and Tish Lowrance. They passed away December 9, 1994 in their home at the age of Doug-40, Julie-2 and Alyssa-1.

Doug graduated from Elk City High School in 1972 where he played football, basketball and baseball. He attended college and later joined the United States Navy. Doug married Tisha Renae Brittenham and they lived in the Sweetwater community where they made their home while Doug was working for Roger Mills County. Doug loved his family, fishing, hunting and enjoying his friends.

They were preceded in death by their parternal grandfather, great grandfather and maternal grandparents, great grandparents.

They are survived by the wife, and mother, Tish, 4 children, brothers and sisters, Sar, Kylia, Scott and klye, parents and grandparents, Billy Joe Lowrance, Sayre, Oklahoma and Aleta Dowell, Amarillo, Texas, Maternal grandparents, Bob Brittenham and Alta Yahola both of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Maternal great grandparents, Earl and Mickey Boyles, Kiefer, Oklahoma, paternal great grandmother, Evelyn Lowrance, Sayre, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services were at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 12, 1994 at the Sayre First Baptist Church officiated by Andy Taylor, and assisted by Albert Warnken. Interment was in the Lone Oak Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK.
