OAK GROVE, LA -- Funeral services for Douglas “Wayne” Dark of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be 10AM, Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Cox Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Ratley and Rev. Jimbo Herring officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Grove City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5PM - 9PM and Thursday from 8AM until service time at Cox Funeral Home.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Marla Beavers Dark of Chickasaw, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Cole Douglas Dark and Krystal Dark of Kansas; daughter and her fiancé, Endia Nicole Dark and Jamie Leshe of Chickasaw, Louisiana; son, Dustin Wayne Dark of Chickasaw, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Johnathon Blake Cook and Destiny Cook of Oak Grove, Louisiana; parents, Douglas Earl Dark and Betty Jo Cauthen Dark of Oak Grove, Louisiana; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanne Dark Styron and Lonnie L. Styron Jr. of Oak Grove, Louisiana; sister, Barbie Dark Smith of Oak Grove, Louisiana; four grandchildren, Kelly Dark, Emma Grace Cook, Ella Faith Cook, Joshua Rider Leshe; mother-in-law, Molly Gramer and husband Robert of Corpus Christi, Texas; brother-in-law, Dale Beavers Jr.; best friends, Penny and Michael Byrd; special friend, Johnny Smith; numerous friends.

Pallbearers will be Richard Boutwell, Jeff Boutwell, Ronald Duckworth, Danny Green, J. T. Travis, Dale Beavers Jr..

Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Shivers, Buddy Brown, Wayne Williams, Local 798 Pipeline members, Rock Pile fishing camp members.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
