PARKER, DOUGLAS W.

Died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 1981, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was 64, a native and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired Ethel Corp. supervisor and a veteran of World War II.

Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home after 8 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Glendon R. Messer. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Mildred Bezard Parker, Baton Rouge; a daughter, Pam Parker, Baton Rouge; a sister, Mrs. Ruby Henderson, Baton Rouge; nieces and nephews.

He was a member of Istrouma United Methodist Church, Ethel Management Club and Nicholson Post No. 38.

In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Istrouma Methodist Church or the American Heart Fund.
