JONESBORO -- Doyle E. Meredith, 65, of Jonesboro died Thursday morning in Jackson Parish Hospital after a short illness.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today in Edmonds Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. K.G. Rorie officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eunice Meredith of Jonesboro; three daughters, Barbara Hulett of Jackson, Miss., Judy Lodge of Westminster, Calif., and Linda Autrey of West Monroe; his mother, Mrs. E.L. Meredith Sr. of Jonesboro; one brother, E.L. Meredith Jr. of Jonesboro; and eight grandchildren.
