Doyle G. Cliett
Doyle G. Cliett, age 90, passed away, Sunday, August 1, 2010, at the Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory.
Mr. Cliett was born July 5, 1920, in Montpelier to the late Dora Mary Gosa and Jewel Carlton Clliett. He was a parts manager for Farm Equipment Company in Tunica until his retirement. Mr. Cliett attended Palestine United Methodist Church after returning to Montpelier. His first wife, Sally Manning Cliett preceded him in death on January 19, 1966. He married Mary Barger Cliett on March 15, 1980, she passed away on March 16, 2004.
Graveside funeral services are today, Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, at Palestine Cemetery near Montpelier, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Cary Sutphin officiating. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty C. Dabbs of Amory; two step-daughters: Cheryl Stewart of Lamar, Mary McPherson of Drummonds, Tenn.; two grandchildren: Sally Axton and Suzanne Shrum; and six great grandchildren.

Visitation is today, following the graveside services at the Palestine United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
