Doyle Odom
July 20th, 1931 - July 17th, 2010

Mr. Doyle Odom, 78, a native of Waynesboro, MS and a resident of Waynesboro, MS died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was retired having worked as roughneck in the oil field. Mr. Odom was a member of Trinity First Baptist Church of Beat Four Community, he served in the US Army as a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, was a member of the Woodmen of the World.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Pitts Odom; father, Ed Odom and mother, Minnie Odom.

He is survived by his son, Howard Dail Odom (Sharon Marie) of Waynesboro; brother, Coyt Odom of Waynesboro; 3 grandchildren, Derrick Odom, Dustin Odom, and Devin Odom, all of Waynesboro; 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Odom will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday, July 18, 2010 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, Waynesboro, MS.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 19, 2010 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Joe Holder officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Cemetery, Beat Four Community.
