E. B. Hales

Funeral services for E. B. Hales, 55, who died Monday afternoon in a local hospital, were held Wednesday at 3 p.m. from Peters Funeral Home.

Rev. H. L. Johns officiated. Interment was in Hasley Cemetery with Masonic ritual at the graveside to be conducted by the Western Star Lodge.

Hales, a member of the Western Star Masonic lodge 24, had been a switchman for the Missouri Pacific Railroad for the past 30 years.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Mrs. Maybelle Hales, of Monroe; one son, E. B. Hales, Jr., of Monroe.
