E. C. Murray

SHREVEPORT - Services for Mr. E. C. Murray, 77, of Shreveport, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday January 11 at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. The Rev. Nolan Logan, pastor of the Christian Center of Shreveport, will officiate. Burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home between the hours of 2 and 5 p.m. Sunday Jan. 10.

Mr. Murray died Saturday January 9, 1988 at Schumpert Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born in Hall Summit, La. and had been a resident of Shreveport for the past 40 years. Mr. Murray was retired as Staff Manager for Kilpatrick Life Insurance Co. He was a member of the Broadmoor Baptist Church.

He is survived by one son, Carlton Murray, one granddaughter, Susie Murray, one brother, L.P. Murray, and two sisters, Mrs. Jewel Wilgus and Mrs. Lillian Festervan, all of Shreveport.

Pallbearers will be John C. Prince, Roy Towns, Moulton Storey, Bobby Joe King, John King and Bobby Joe King Jr.

Family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association or an organization of the donor's choice.
