Funeral services for Earie Elizabeth Mayes McCarty, 89, of Natchez, were held at 3 p.m., April 14, in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.

Interment was in Providence Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Max Lee officiating.

A native of Columbia, she was born Dec. 24, 1894. She was a housewife. She died on April 13, 1984, following a lengthy illness.

Survivors include two sons, Delton McCarty, Natchez, Miss., and Dana McCarty, Seattle, Wash.; one sister Mrs. J. Paul Martin, Shreveport; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Owen White, Jack Nelson, Robbie Wilson, Bill Russell, Earl Albritton and Clifton Lord.
