WHITTINGTON, EARL B.

Died at 8:55 a.m. Thursday at Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital in Baton Rouge. He was 72, a native of Gloster, Miss., and a resident of Gloster, Miss., and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired employe of Ethel Corp.

Body at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster with visiting until 3 p.m. Friday. Religious services at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Marsette Temple. Burial in Roseland Cemetery, Gloster.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bonnie Wilkinson Whittington of Baton Rouge; three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Pate of Pheba, Miss., Mrs. Ruby Tucker and Mrs. Shirley Calcote, both of Baton Rouge; six grandchildren; a brother, Robert H. Whittington of Baton Rouge; five sisters, Mrs. Elaine Tregre, Mrs. Lena Jones, and Mrs. Lois Daigle, all of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Bernice Whittington of Liberty, Miss., and Mrs. Ottomese Williams of Nashville, Tenn.
